Engineering Consultancy of the Year

This category recognises outstanding engineering consultancies operating within the Irish engineering sector. This category highlights consultancies that provide engineering advice, project oversight, technical guidance, and specialist services across disciplines such as mechanical & electrical (M&E), civil & structural, environmental, fire safety, sustainability, health & safety, and other advisory areas. Judges will be looking for evidence of strong commercial performance, technical leadership, and excellence in client service and project delivery. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission. The judges will be looking for a structured submission supported by tangible evidence, with a particular focus on the following criteria:

• Consultancy Overview: Outline your consultancy’s core disciplines, founding year, team size, key services, and notable accreditations or achievements.
• Key Projects: Showcase major projects completed in the past 12 months. Include project size, your role, key challenges, and what made them technically or strategically exceptional.
• Operational Excellence: Highlight improvements to internal processes, resource or quality management, or use of technology. Describe the impact on efficiency and performance.
• Innovation: Provide examples of innovative engineering methods, tools, or materials used. Explain how these added value or improved outcomes for clients.
• Client Satisfaction: Explain how you manage client relationships, ensure delivery, and exceed expectations. Share feedback, repeat business, or other evidence of success.
• Health & Safety: Summarise your consultancy’s health and safety culture, training, initiatives, and measurable improvements in safety outcomes.
