Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has announced a technical careers roadshow in Dublin on 25 and 26 November 2025, aiming to recruit licensed aircraft engineers for its Dubai hub.

The recruitment drive forms part of the Emirates Group’s global plan to hire 17,300 professionals across 350 roles this financial year, reflecting an investment of US$950 million (€820 million) in a new state-of-the-art engineering facility at Dubai World Central.

The roadshow provides an opportunity for both experienced and aspiring aircraft engineers to engage with Emirates recruiters, gaining insight into technical roles, career progression, and life in Dubai. Emirates Engineering, one of the world’s most advanced aircraft maintenance facilities, supports the airline’s fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft and also maintains aircraft for 30 other airlines under third-party contracts.

Construction of the new engineering facility began in 2024 and is expected to complete in 2027. Spread over 1 million square metres, the site is designed to accommodate Emirates’ operations into the 2040s and serves as a centre of excellence for commercial aviation engineering services in the Middle East. Engineers will handle tasks including routine checks, heavy maintenance programmes, engine repair and testing, cabin interior fit-outs, aircraft conversions, and bespoke paint work.

Emirates offers a tax-free salary, profit-share eligibility, comprehensive medical and life insurance, education allowances, and heavily discounted flights for employees and their families. Staff also have access to the Emirates Platinum card, providing privileges and discounts across thousands of retail, hospitality, and service outlets globally.

The company highlights the international, multicultural work environment in Dubai, hosting over 200 nationalities, offering engineers exposure to cutting-edge aircraft technology and global best practices.
