Ireland's engineering sector has until 24 July to submit entries for the Engineering Excellence Awards 2026, with the deadline now approaching and organisations across the country urged to finalise their submissions ahead of the closing date.

The Engineering Excellence Awards recognise outstanding achievement across Ireland's engineering community, celebrating the individuals, teams, and companies driving innovation across construction, design, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. With the entry window drawing to a close, those yet to submit are encouraged to act promptly to ensure their work is considered by this year's independent judging panel.

Finalists will be announced on 21 August, before the awards gala takes place on 21 October 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry. The ceremony gathers hundreds of senior executives from across Irishcom engineering industry, offering a platform for meaningful connection with the sector's most influential figures and top talent.

Participation is free, with submissions assessed by an independent judging panel drawn from diverse areas of engineering expertise. The 2026 programme spans 26 categories covering the full breadth of the sector, from Engineering Project of the Year and Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Biomedical Engineering categories to Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Smart Infrastructure, and Social Impact awards. People-focused categories include Rising Star in Engineering, Women in Engineering, Best People Development, Graduate Training Programme of the Year, and Apprenticeship Programme Award, among others.

For organisations that have delivered notable engineering work over the past 12 months, the closing deadline represents the final opportunity to have that work evaluated and recognised at national level.
