Martin Engineering, a United States bulk materials equipment specialist, has formed a new partnership with Plimley Trading to strengthen support for bulk materials handling customers across the Republic of Ireland, according to industry sources.

The agreement gives quarry operators, mining companies and material processing firms direct access to Martin's range of solutions for cleaner, safer and more efficient operations, backed by Plimley's engineering and fabrication expertise.

Under the partnership, Plimley will supply Martin's conveyor components, including belt-cleaning systems, air cannons and related technologies, helping address common issues such as spillage and material blockages in aggregates, cement, concrete, lime and zinc production.

Key solutions include CleanScrape belt cleaners for primary and secondary applications, heavy-duty variants for demanding environments, and air cannon systems designed to prevent build-up in silos, hoppers and chutes. Martin's N2 remote monitoring technology is also available, allowing operators to track equipment performance, reduce manual inspections and improve site safety.

The agreement formalises an existing relationship between the two companies and forms part of Martin's wider European growth strategy, with both businesses aiming to improve productivity and operational performance across Ireland's core industrial sectors.

Dave Harasym, Martin Engineering's branch manager for UK and Ireland, said: "After getting to know Plimley over the past decade, we're delighted to strengthen our partnership and extend our reach across Ireland. Like Martin, Plimley is a close-knit team with family values at its heart, and together we will solve our customers' problems more rapidly and help them to continuously improve. Plimley is one of the few firms with the experience and technical know-how to rise to any materials handling challenge."
